Product Overview
Intercept is Basecrete's colloidal silicate densifier in the 5-gallon pail: a penetrating treatment that reacts inside the concrete to densify, harden and strengthen the surface of pool shells, decks and walls — and, per the manufacturer, helps prevent efflorescence.
It is an easy spray-on application, rated by the manufacturer at roughly 500–700 sq ft per pail, and it fits the prep sequence before waterproofing and finish work. Pool Finish supplies Intercept in Miami for builders who treat the shell, not just coat it.
